This means I don't gotta draw nothing to feel creative!
(Hear that? It's the sound of a thousand OC's crying in anguish.)
Write out the names of your characters and explain
1) how you thought of their name
2) what made you create the character in the first place
3) how the character has changed over time (if they have changed)
4) any random fun fact about that character
(These first two came up today, in fact)
Sunny
1) She's alternately grumpy or pensive, so 'Sunny' is the opposite of her disposition. AREN'T I CLEVER?
2) A friend I used to have online drew herself. The picture made her look kind of like an emo kid - long hair, glasses, baggy clothes. I just liked the look, and I also like uber-nerdy Velma-from-Scooby-Doo types.
3) Not much, other than becoming more fleshed-out and generally messed-up. If she ever makes it into my prose (which she might), she's gonna look like ten pounds of emotional baggage in a five pound bag.
4) She's left handed, and plays her guitar accordingly.
Bonita
1) She's full-figured, and her name has 'Bony' in it (which Sunny has called her at least once). I AM CLEVER^2.
2) She started out, and even I can't believe this, as a sort of overweight, stoic amazon. I forget how, but she gradually morphed into an eternally perky, yet secretly disturbing, individual. A foil for Sunny, as it were.
3) Her disturbing side has come out more, and she's demonstrated a sense of loyalty and camaraderie for Sunny. In the beginning, you prolly could've swapped her for any number of stock bubbly girls from any teen show/comicstrip/book ever.
4) She hates wearing shoes and goes barefoot as often as she can.
Kae (Pronounced 'K'

1) It's the first letter of someone I had a bizarre kind of fascination with.
2) Kind of connected to question 1)... I invented the name and wrote a story about someone who randomly encounters a mysterious person who teaches them to be more creative. Yeah, it sounds flat when I explain it...
3) Not much, she seems to have popped into my head full-formed like a reverse Zeus/Athena story. She's bonded to other characters, though, in many complex ways.
4) She has Marfan's Syndrome (which some people believe Abraham Lincoln had), so she's incredibly tall). Also has weird facial features and spidery hands.

He drew a circle that shut me out --
Heretic, rebel, a thing to flout.
But love and I had the wit to win:
We drew a circle that took him in.
